Philippians — Chapter 3

Being of like mind — compare with the same reference to like-mindedness in Chapter 2 (v 1-5).

One of the most uplifting verses in the New Testament — 3: 13,14

This is the key element to the Christian life, that we can forget what is past, and move forward.  It is said we forgive, and then forget.  Realistically, we can’t easily forget a tragedy or a deep hurt, but it does not have to own us.  We can be redeemed from the worst mistake.

And we are then asked to walk by the same rule (v.16), imploring us to “be of the same mind.”
